Lost In Our Reverie

I’ve been writing and recording my own music lately and decided to release something that I have been working on. I wrote this song, “Lost In Our Reverie” with thoughts of keeping it instrumental but got the idea of having a few vocals in it. I had the privilege to work with Denver Singer/Songwriter, Katey Laurel and Ben Gorham from the band I play for, Green or Blue. Two talented singers and their voices fit so well. Hope you get a chance to listen, and I hope you enjoy!

Drifting Ambitions (My First Instrumental Song)

I know I haven’t put out a drum video in a while BUT I will after the holidays! Things are a bit busy. I have recently been writing some ambient/instrumental music. It’s something new for me and I’m enjoying it. I put it up on bandcamp for you to listen and download. I would love to hear your thoughts! Hope you all have a great holiday season.

Thanksgiving

Hey everyone. I just want to take the time out just to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It means so much to me to have the love and support from all of you over the past few years. It’s one of the major reasons why I still try and do what I love. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving with family and friends! Again, thank you and I’ll try and continue to make you all proud.

Have a great holiday season!

Drum Videos/Update

Hey everyone! Hope all is well. Just wanted to give you a quick update. Next Sunday, November 25th I’m playing a gig with Green or Blue. If you’re in the Brooklyn/NYC area come on out to Spike Hill! Should be a good time. We finished up writing our first album and we’re just waiting to find some studio time to record it! Really excited about that.

I recently recorded a lot of new drum videos,

I want to do more. If you have any suggestions please let me know! Songs to cover, lessons, weekly drum tips, podcasts, etc. Anything you guys have in mind, let me know! I want to utilize this website more too, so maybe I’ll start some live lessons in the future if you are interested. But, let me know and I’ll see what I can do and we can get this rolling.

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season! Talk soon.

First Music Video Appearance!

Early in 2012 I had the privilege to work with singer/songwriter Mikey Wax. He filmed his music video for his single of his new album “Constant Motion”. This single is called “Counting On You” and I had the honor to play drums in the live band shots. VERY cold but such an amazing experience to work with him. The video has gotten such a large number of views and positive responses. Here it is, enjoy!

DRUM! Magazine

Back in the end of 2011, I was featured  in DRUM! Magazines “New Blood” Column for their December issue. It is still such an honor and an amazing feeling to have that opportunity and I can’t thank everyone enough for all of the love and support. Really excited to see what this year has to offer!

One year ago from today.

It has already been one full year that this website has been up and what a year it has been. I don’t even know where to start. I released this last year and I kept updating it with new projects I was a part of and creative videos that I’ve done. I recently joined a band, Green or Blue. There are no words to express how happy I am to be a part of this band with Matt and Ben. I wrote a post about this already but in June they approached me to fill in for a show they had in NYC. It was an hour set, very intimate show, our friends and family were there, it was just a great night. We clicked at practices ever since then and they asked me to be the drummer of their band. I’m so excited to see what’s to come in our future in music and friendship. Another thing I have to update you on is that I will be featured in DRUM! Magazine’s “New Blood” column in their December issue. They sent me an email about it and I was so excited. I won’t get into detail about my reaction to the email to save the embarrassment, but lets say it was like Christmas morning haha. It will be in Barnes and Noble’s November 14th. I’ve been very busy trying to take my drumming to the next level and I’m so happy with where I am right now. Thank you to EVERYONE that has still supported everything I have done. I wish I can put into words and tell you how much it means to me.

Since my website has been up for one year I decided to do a sweet “celebration” video you can say. Its a drum video unlike my old videos. Took a lot of time and work to do this but it was so worth it and better yet, it’s a cover to my favorite band. Enjoy.

The Fray – Heartbeat (New single off their new, yet to be released album “Scars & Stories”)

Thrice

Here’s a new drum cover I did. This band has inspired me so much with where I’m at with my music today. If the band ever sees this, thank you for all that you do.

Thrice – Anthology (Major/Minor)

Green or Blue

Hey everyone, just giving you a little update. I’ve joined this band Green or Blue, and honestly, there is nothing more that could make me happier. Matt and Ben are such talented musicians and it means a lot to be part of this band with them. I can’t get the right words to write on here about how excited and happy I am about this. We had our first show July 1st, 2011 in New York City and I think we all realized that this is gonna be the start of something great. As of right now, we’re looking to record a new EP in August and take it from there. Heres a video we did last week. (Green or Blue – Boys of Summer (Cover) )

So excited for what’s to come in the future with this band!
